Coffee Crafted with Intention, Served with Care

Match was born out of a simple frustration — too many cafés in Melbourne were chasing trends instead of building trust. The founders, two lifelong coffee obsessives who had spent years in specialty roasteries and neighbourhood kitchens, wanted something different: a place that felt genuinely yours from the very first visit.

We chose our corner of Melbourne deliberately. We sourced our beans from roasters we'd sat across a table from, tasted with, and shaken hands with. We designed our space the way you'd arrange a room in your own home — unhurried, considered, lit warmly. Every detail was put in service of one idea: that a café should feel like a match for you, not just a stop on the way to somewhere else.

Today, Match is where locals begin their mornings, where meetings become conversations, and where a flat white is never just a flat white. We're proud to be part of this neighbourhood's daily rhythm — and we take that trust seriously, one cup at a time.
